Wedding Reception Tips

Weddings and Money

Getting married is one of the greatest, most important days that a person will experience. This is a time of love, celebration, and uniting two lives in a commitment to last a lifetime. During the planning stage of the wedding and reception, you will be busy making phone calls, running errands, shopping for accessories, trying on dresses, and so on. This is a wonderful time but also a busy time. Because of this, it is also important to take good care of your skin and not overlook it. When you get married, you want your skin to be clean, smooth, and healthy.
Arriving at your wedding with a blemish would be considered devastating. You want to start several weeks out if you are not on a regular facial regimen. Sometimes when a person first starts with a certain facial method, they will actually experience more breakouts than normal. This is normal and the body's natural process of eliminating toxins, which is exactly why it is so important to start early to ensure that your skin is perfect.
If your skin problems are mild to moderate, using a mild cleanser and makeup remover, along with a mild scrub, toner, and rich moisturizer will work perfectly. If you have moderate to severe skin problems, you should locate a licensed Dermatologist or Esthetician who can work with you to clear up your skin in time for your wedding.
A great method that will work at home is to blend dry oatmeal until it is to a fine powder. Then mix in enough honey to create a paste. Once the two are mixed well together, massage it into your facial skin. Leave this to set for about 20 minutes and then rinse thoroughly, use your toner, and moisturize. Another great home remedy is to use witch hazel on your face. This acts as an inexpensive toner and will do wonders for your skin. One other option for at home is to use aloe vera in gel form. This is perfect for creating a mask that can be left on for 20 minutes. Finally, with a dry washcloth, wipe most of the aloe vera off and the remainder can be rubbed into your face as your moisturizer.
To ensure your skin is at its best, you want to make sure you avoid tanning from two weeks to your special day. Stay away from harsh scrubs or any type of aggressive facial. Finally, make sure any waxing or tweezing is done several days before the wedding so any swelling and/or redness are gone. Following these simple steps will ensure you look radiant on your wedding day.
