Every bride wants to look like a princess on her wedding day. She wants her dress, hair, makeup, and everything to be fabulous. The brides makeup is extremely important because she will be in the spotlight, the one who everyone is focusing on. To achieve the magnificent look you want, you can do a few things to ensure your makeup looks natural and beautiful.

For starters, use the proper tools. Many women do not realize that even the material of a powder puff can make a difference in how the applied makeup looks. Keep your tools clean after each use. In fact, for your wedding, you might consider buying new, quality tools. Choose quality brushes and sponges that are made from soft cotton.

When applying the blush on your wedding day, apply to the apple of your check, the cheekbones that protrude whenever you smile. Since this is your wedding, you know that will be happening often. After you have used a good bristle brush, use a soft sponge to smooth around the blush line so everything blends perfectly.

Your eyes will be the focus on your wedding day so you want to make sure you pay close attention to how they are made up. On the eyelid, use a soft off-white color all over. Then in the crease of the eyelid, use a soft mixture of taupe and blue, and then a soft overlay of gold. For the eyelashes, the most important thing is to use a type of mascara that is waterproof because you can be sure that there will be tears and the last thing you want are black streaks flowing down your face. To keep the lashes separated, you can actually buy a special comb or brush that will eliminate those nasty clumps.

A new trend that many brides are enjoying is the fake beauty mark. In fact, beautiful women like Cindy Crawford who have been blessed with a real beauty mark are the envy of many brides. However, if you have a beauty mark and want to cover it for your wedding, make sure you do not use opaque foundation or it will look even worse. Your best bet is to buy a good concealer that is made from the same color of your skin and then lighty brush a loose powder over your entire face, including the concealer.

The main thing to remember when deciding on the look you want for your wedding is not to overdo it. The heavy makeup, dramatic eyes, and red lips can be a bit much. By selecting a makeup style that is clean, simple, and with just a touch of drama, you will look like an angel on your special day.
