When you start preparing for your wedding, you will feel as though you have headed straight into boot camp training. From the engagement photograph to the bridal shower to the fitting for the wedding gown, and everything in between, you will quickly run out of steam if you do not have a good plan in place to help you along for your special day. The main problem is that with all this planning and running around, you will find yourself eating junk food, or grabbing something fast food just to fuel the body enough to keep going. The reality is that you want your wedding day to be magnificent, looking your best.

More than likely, your wedding will be planned at least six months away. You do not want to be sucked into fad diets or diet pills as a way of looking your best. Instead, you want to start the process of looking your best by healthy eating, drinking at least eight glasses of water a day, and exercising. Cut down on the amount of sweets eaten and replace them with fresh fruits and vegetables, and lean meats. Rather than frying food, bake or grill.

In addition to eating different, you also need to incorporate exercise into your daily life. This will improve your life and look for your wedding day, but also for your entire life. If you have a gym close by, take advantage of the equipment and aerobic classes. If not, or if you prefer exercising in private, start by walking every day. Purchase a couple reputable workout tapes and set 30 minutes to one hour aside every day, for you.

As you start training for your wedding, remember that the number of calories burned have to exceed the number of calories being consumed. Therefore, you need to work off more calories than you eat. While you are getting into shape and starting to look wonderful, something else is happening. You are becoming healthier, which will allow you to live a long life with your new spouse. Your energy level will dramatically improve and life will be better

The key is losing weight associated with fat and not just body weight. If you will keep your calorie intake to no more than 1,200 per day, and exercise, you will lose weight, tone up, have more energy, and look stunning for your wedding. You have to make the decision to do this for yourself, and allow the wedding to be the beneficiary. Take one day at a time, each day determined to live a healthier life. By the time your wedding comes around, you will be fit, feeling sensual and romantic - just how every bride should feel.
