If you are interested in a luxurious honeymoon close to the ocean, where
the nightlife is electrifying and the restaurants incredible, Cabo San
Lucas would be a great destination. This town offers travelers literally
hundreds of options for accommodations, running along the corridor. What
was once a rustic and sometimes out of control party place, Cabo San Lucas
has transformed into a favorite place to travel filled with interest,
friendly people, and fantastic attractions.
Many years ago, Cabo San Lucas was best known for the big game fish that
were in abundance. While the fishing is still some of the best anywhere
around, now tourists are more interested in the world renown golf courses
featuring unbelievable fairways and greens. In fact, throughout all of
Mexico, the golf courses in Cabo San Lucas are pristine resort destinations.
The adventure in Cabo San Lucas is tremendously fun. If you like to dance,
this is the place to visit. Although tamed from earlier years, the
nightlife is as hot as the Sahara Dessert in August. Dining out is also a
great adventure. When driving along the main street, you will find numerous
restaurants and bars that draw in people from all around. The food is
delicious, original, and creative. Most of these restaurants and bars are
open until the early morning hours at which time the anglers and fishing
charters start their work on the open seas.
Even with the diversity found in Cabo San Lucas, this town is still
considered a small town. You will find all types of things to do on the
main street and if you are not sure what all the options are, most hotels
feature the Gringo Gazette, which will provide the most current information
about nightclubs, restaurants, shops, fishing, and much more.
For your honeymoon, you will enjoy Cabo San Lucas where it sits by foothills
located to the south and west, and the harbor where you can enjoy watching
the ships rolling in from sea. The waterfront is beautiful and provides and
excellent backdrop for romance. To get around, you can catch a taxicab but
while finding taxis is easy, they are also expensive. Watch for specials
advertised in the paper and make sure you fully understand the price to
include taxes before you sign anything.
If you plan to swim, check the current conditions before getting into the
water. The waters of Mexico are notorious for having strong underwater
currents that can easily pull you out to sea. You also need to be careful
of large, powerful waves, which are also common. If the waters are not
good for swimming, you can still enjoy dining at one of the wonderful
restaurant/bars located on the beach. Other areas are designated for boats
and jet skis, keeping swimmers out. Located around the water are different
colored flags that will help you identify the conditions of the water. Best
of all, enjoy your honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, a wonderful place to visit.
