To make beautiful, romantic, fun, clever, or themed wedding invitations, the main thing you need is a computer and a simple program. Photoshop is one program that is easy to use and ideal for making invitations, or if you prefer, visit your local computer store and locate numerous other software programs.
Along with the computer, you will need to purchase some card stock, which can be found at your local office supply, stationary store, or art supply store. If your wedding will be more on the formal side, you should stick with white or cream color whereas for themed weddings, you can use bright colors and designs. To add a final embellishment, you can use a hole punch to put a small hole at one corner of the envelop and then thread a thin ribbon through.
