When most people think of wedding fashion, they tend to think of brides and bridesmaids. However, the groom is also required to look his best. This article will outline some tips for grooms when they are preparing for their wedding day and will provide some fashion tips for grooms and their grooms men.
The first thing to consider in preparing is the tuxedo. Grooms are almost universally required to wear a tuxedo and unless the groom is dressing for a special costume or theme wedding, the tuxedo is virtually a requirement. There are many different types of tuxes, but generally you will want to go with a good deisnger and try on several tuxes to get the right color and fit.
In addition to the tuxedo, other items such as vests and shoes are important. Most tuxes are rented and come with these other items. If it is made by a special designer, all of these items are meant to be worn together as a "package" and will be rented out accordingly. Most grooms elect to have a slightly different or more flashy look than their groomsmen. This can be achieve by having a different, but matching outfit.
Other things to thing about as the groom include haircut and shaving. It is important to have a good haircut for your wedding as well as a clean or natural shave since these will feature prominently in any and all pictures. Go to a good barber and take extra care shaving before the wedding.
